DeVilbiss Clinical Education from DeVilbiss Healthcare

David Henry RRT, CPFT is Respiratory Clinical Specialist for DeVilbiss Healthcare.  Dave’s extensive background in various aspects of respiratory care allows him to interact with clinicians, physicians, and those involved with delivery of various pulmonary services.

His experience also allows him to interact with research and development of new and innovative products being developed at DeVilbiss Healthcare. Since 1994, Dave has had positions as respiratory specialist, sleep specialist, respiratory education coordinator, and most recently as respiratory clinical specialist.

Dave has had the privilege of traveling to meetings in India , Indonesia , and several countries in South America speaking on the clinical issues related to oxygen, aerosol, and sleep therapy in the home environment. Dave is also a frequent speaker within the United States to clinical groups including respiratory therapists, case managers, and pharmacists.

In the past, Dave was Director of Cardiopulmonary Services for 12 years in a community hospital. Previous to that Dave was an adjunct professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s bachelor’s level Respiratory Care Program. Along with these experiences, he performed home care visits for home care companies on a part time basis.

Dave graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Respiratory Care Program and is a registered respiratory therapist and also certified pulmonary function technician.
